I’ve been listening to this song for a week or so now, and I know I should share good songs when they come out, but I kept this one to myself for a bit. Selfish, I know. Enjoy, and laugh at when Kanye says the word “chance.” He’s not british.

You sly, sexy minx. Keeping this song from us for so long…Kanye might not be british, but he is still a gay fish.

I have things to say, but never have anywhere to post them on the site.
Thing to say:
Listening to Kings of Leon Day Old Belgian Blues EP and was thinking how terrible they got. Whenever I get dragged into a conversation about bands selling out I’ll point to them as the perfect example (because most people will use a band like Brand New.. but you can’t sellout when you were never good in the first place).
Anyways, the KOL concert earlier this year was great, except for songs performed from Only By The Night which I like to refer to as a series of 4-5 minute intermissions. Listening to the EP just makes me really want to see them live after they released Aha Shake…

Dom,
I’m glad you got that off your chest man. I agree that Aha Shake is definitely their best work, but I really wouldnt count them out yet and say they are terrible. They definitely moved towards selling out with Sex on Fire and a few others on Only By Night, but i really think they will go back to their roots on this next album. They already expressed dislike for the new fans that OBN brought out, and now that they blew up, I think they will be comfortable with making music that they like again. (Probably a big reason for starting their own record label) Hang in there big guy…you won’t be able to understand Caleb again before you know it.

why is it selling out? you guys don’t know what you’re talking about. music is all about letting out what you feel and think and expressing that to your fans. and if they got the whole world listening to them then even better. They’ve reached a new audience that might be wack now but the Kings Of Leon still kick ass and Aha is good but Only By The Night is a great album.
